Dr. Janet Katz has been a Principal and Curriculum Coordinator in the Upper Saddle River Schools since 1987. Prior to joining the staff at Upper Saddle River, she taught middle school language arts, was a learning disabilities consultant, and supervised graduate clinical practicum courses in special education at Columbia University, Teachers College where she completed a doctorate in education in 1986.
She was Principal in the Bogert Elementary School in Upper Saddle River for seven years. Presently, she works as Curriculum Coordinator for the Upper Saddle River Schools, a Kindergarten through eighth grade school district in northern New Jersey. She is responsible for overseeing the implementation of programs in science, mathematics, world language, organizing professional development, writing and managing grants, and delivering Board of Education and parent presentations.
